Getting your hands on Lateral Flow Tests

Recent changes to government guidance in Scotland surrounding Covid-19 testing mean that people will no longer be asked to take a PCR test to confirm a positive Lateral Flow Test.

Here’s where to get your hands on Lateral Flow Tests.

With rules and guidance changing all the time, we know it can get quite confusing and overwhelming, so it’s important to talk to your family or any older relatives and make sure you/they know the most up to date information.

Recent changes to government guidance in Scotland surrounding Covid-19 testing mean that people will no longer be asked to take a PCR test to confirm a positive Lateral Flow Test.

Anyone with a positive Lateral Flow Device (LFD) should report the result online as soon as the test is done.  This ensures that people can get the advice they need as quickly as possible. After reporting their result, people should then fill in the online form they will receive, so that contacts can also be informed and rapidly given the correct advice.

There are many ways you can get your hands on a Lateral Flow Testing Kit, so have a read below and decide which option is best for you or your family member. If you need help ordering, try and ask a family member or friend in the first instance to assist you. If this isn’t possible, don’t worry, there are plenty of other options.

People in Scotland who need a Lateral Flow Test can do so in the following ways. Click on each line to be taken to the relevant websites:
