Recognising Outstanding Partnership Work – WINNER

Earlier this year, our Business and Operations Manager Rachel, alongside Senior Project Worker Tracy, attended the Police Scotland Awards, where Tracy had been nominated for the Partners Recognition Award. We are very proud to share that Tracy was named the winner.
In her role, Tracy leads the planning and delivery of weekly activities across all of our clubs, creating sessions that are engaging, enjoyable and often informative. A key part of her work has been developing a strong and valued partnership with Police Scotland, working closely with local officers to ensure our service users have access to clear, relevant information.
Through this partnership, our members are supported to stay informed about issues such as scams, personal safety and local developments. Just as importantly, Tracy has helped create opportunities for open conversation. Working alongside Mary from Police Scotland, she has made space for people to raise concerns, ask questions and feel heard, strengthening both understanding and trust within the community. We see every day the energy, care and commitment Tracy brings to her work. To see that recognised through this award is both meaningful and well deserved.

Looking ahead, Tracy has ambitious plans to continue developing this work and strengthening connections within the local community. We are already seeing this in practice through growing intergenerational activity, with local schools joining a number of our clubs and building meaningful relationships with our members. With a calendar already filling up with new ideas and activities, there is a real sense of momentum around what comes next. We are incredibly proud of Tracy and grateful for the impact she continues to make
