What a fantastic day we had at SOOPIR Day on Monday 19th May! In partnership with Fèis Phàislig, Renfrewshire HSCP, the Seniors Forum, and Renfrewshire Council, we welcomed 270 older adults to the beautifully refurbished Paisley Town Hall for a joyful celebration of community, culture, and connection.
The afternoon was filled with the sound of traditional Scottish music, the energy of dancing feet, and the warmth of good company. Guests enjoyed live performances, got up for a ceilidh (or two!), and shared stories over a light lunch – all in the stunning surroundings of one of Renfrewshire’s most iconic venues.
We are so proud to have been part of such a vibrant, intergenerational event that celebrated our older community members in style. Events like these remind us of the importance of social connection, laughter, and simply coming together.
